Dry Canyon Panorama

This is a panorama of the view from a spring up the side of Dry Canyon. We followed a trail that took us up to a water tank and watering trough for cattle. There were about a dozen cattle there grazing on the grass growing between junipers, cactus and other bushes. In the hiking guide, this was described as a beautiful riparian area. There were indeed more birds here, attracted by the water, but the presence and destruction by the cattle reduced the pleasure in the scene. In this photo you can see the cattle below where we climbed to have a snack and enjoy the view. The trail is even below where the cattle are gathered.
